Promoting Education for Rural India
Vidyonnati Foundation is incorporated under Section 8(1) of the Companies Act, 2013 on 3rd January, 2023 as an NGO with the objective to promote education and extend financial help to deserving students.
Education for students from low-income families, especially those hailing from rural areas, is a dream that often becomes a financial burden — resulting in dropouts without continuing their education. To promote education of graduating students from Government High Schools of Andhra Pradesh, India, the momentum has commenced through Vidyonnati Foundation.
Our scholarship program is designed to help meritorious students selected through a screening test at Mandal/Tahsil level, studying 10th class in Government and Aided High Schools of rural areas, to continue their higher education. The Foundation also helps in identifying economically backward meritorious students, guides them in securing admission to further education, and provides scholarships through the charity of philanthropic individuals and companies.

How We Work
A transparent, merit-based process to identify and support deserving students from rural Andhra Pradesh.
Screening Test
Students studying 10th class in Government and Aided High Schools appear for a screening test conducted at Mandal Headquarters every year.
Merit Selection
15 meritorious and deserving students are selected per year from across 3 mandals (Addanki, J. Panguluru & Inkollu) in Prakasam and Bapatla Districts, Andhra Pradesh.
Scholarship Award
Selected students receive scholarship funding to continue their Intermediate or equivalent course for 2 years.
Guidance & Growth
We advise students and guide them in securing admission for undergraduate courses with continued financial and mentorship support.
Our short-term target is to cover all 56 Mandals of erstwhile Prakasam District and mandals interested by donors. This selection process can be extended to other Mandals in the state of Andhra Pradesh depending on availability of donations from individuals and companies. High School Heads, Teachers, volunteers, and media participate to enhance the programme.

Medical professional and patron of the foundation, supporting the cause of education for underprivileged students.
